Official Godzilla Skin Appears in Fall Guys
Popular online multiplayer game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is celebrating Godzilla Day, November 3, by releasing an officially licensed Godzilla costume to use in-game on that day. As reported by IGN, the costume will cost 10 crowns, the currency earned for winning matches in the game. It will be available for a limited time only with an expiration date not yet revealed.
The news was announced officially by @FallGuysGame on Twitter on October 27, along with a GIF of what the new Fall Guys outfit looks like. The tweet reads,

That excitement was seconded by Jeff Tanton, VP of Creative for the game’s developer, MediaTonic, who said, “We are proud and deeply honoured to share the stage with the greatest Kaiju…”
Another iconic Japanese character, Sonic the Hedgehog, was just recently honored with a similar costume release by MediaTonic on October 14th.
Fall Guys, inspired by wild obstacle course game shows like Takeshi’s Castle, originally launched on August 4, 2020, on Playstation 4 and PC. According to The Gamer in an article last month, Fall Guys has smashed a number of records and made over $185 million in PC sales alone, with over 8.2 million copies sold.
