KonoSuba Mobile Game Going Global in 2021, Voice Actors Excited

On November 9, it was announced in a Business Wire press release that KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Fantastic Days, a Japanese free-to-play mobile RPG game based on the popular light novel and anime series, will be available on Android and iOS worldwide beginning in 2021. 

The game originally launched in Japan in February 2020 and has achieved tremendous success. It features all four members of the main cast - Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin and Darkness - as well as other fan-favorite characters and new characters never seen before in the anime. The Japanese version of the game has since then been updated regularly with new content and gained positive reviews from gamers and series fans alike.

Famous video game publisher Nexon acquired global publishing rights to KonoSuba: Fantastic Days outside the areas of Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. An exact global launch date for the game has yet to be announced at this time, but the press release did confirm that the series’ original Japanese voice actors, Jun Fukushima (Kazuma) and Sora Amamiya (Aqua) reprise their roles in the global version. Nexon celebrated this announcement on their official YouTube channel on December 1 by sharing short interviews with Fukushima and Amamiya. 

Both VA’s were excited for fans around the world to experience the game. Amamiya shared, “Just like with the anime, the other cast members and I combined all our spirits into something we’re sure you’ll all enjoy!” Nexon also previously released an announcement trailer for the game on their YouTube account.
