--How did you feel when you got the role and how did you feel when you read the script?

I was instantly taken aback by the sight of a single human being living with a robot.

On the day of the first recording session, I was asked to do a tentative recording for the film. I didn't have the kind of timing that would allow me to say, "I've been accepted for this role," so I thought that someday I might be cast in a film where a different person was acting. So I was happy to be cast in the role as it was, and more importantly, I was happy that everyone who made the film was happy with it.

--Do you have a message for your fans at home and abroad?

Although it is a science fiction work, it is filled with a lot of feelings that cannot be expressed in scientific terms.

Somewhere in the not-too-distant future, there may be a world like this. In such a case, what should people be like? What is it that we really want to cherish for ourselves? This work gives us an opportunity to rethink what we truly want to do today.

I hope you, who are someone's "precious", will watch this film. Please enjoy this film!
