New Television Anime Series Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life Announced

As covered in an article by Anime News Network, Studio Revoroot announced on January 31, 2021, that it producing a new anime series called Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Daini no Shokugyō o Ete, Sekai Saikyō ni Narimashita, which translates to The Reincarnated Sage's Alternate World Life: I Got a Second Profession, and Became the Most Powerful in the World. The announcement was made during the online event, "GA Fes 2021." This promotional video states that the anime is coming soon, but does not give a specific date.

The series originated as a light novel written by Shinkoshoto and began publication in May 2018, followed shortly by a manga adaptation.

Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life follows Yuji Sano, a young man who has to do grueling work for a Japanese company. One day, his computer transports him to a new “game-like world, complete with status bars and skills.” In this new world, Yuji starts out as a slime tamer and then gains a second profession as a sage.

Revoroot has recently done animation work on the televised series Akudama Drive and Azur Lane. Pony Canyon is helming music production.
