The "Saiyuki" series, which is written by Minekura Kazuya and has been serialized in 'Monthly Comic Zero Sum', will release itse 5th TV anime adaptation. The title will be "Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin". Original teaser visual by Minekura Kazuya has also been revealed. The voice actors including Seki Toshihiko are the same as the previous work.
The "Saiyuki" series is a fantasy road-movie comic inspired by 'Journey to the West'. It has spawned four TV anime series so far, and has been popular for over 25 years through multiple media including OVA, theatrical anime, and musical.
The title for the 5th TV anime adaptation will be "Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin". It is based on "Even a Worm Arc", a popular episode of the original comic, and animation production is handled by Lidenfilms.
As the anime adaptation was announced, Seki Toshihiko as Genjyo Sanzo read comments on behalf of the original writer Minekura Kazuya in 'Saiyuki Roudoku Geki' - Nothing to give-, and it is posted on official Twitter.
The release date of "Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin" is not confirmed yet. Please look forward no further news.
