“The End of Evangelion” will be screened in theaters! Twenty-three years after its first release, it will comeback to cinemas

While the release of the latest work of the "Evangelion" series "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" (January 23, 2021 Roadshow) is approaching, "The End of Evangelion" will be screened in theaters for a limited time.



"The End of Evangelion" is a culmination of 2 works, "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth" released on March 15, 1997, and "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion" released on July 19, 1997, which was released on March 7, 1998.



In the last few years, this movie was screened during the special screening "The World of Hideaki Anno" at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2014, but now, 23 years after the first release, it will come back to cinemas.



"The End of Evangelion" will be released for a limited time from January 8 to 22, 2021, in 5 big cities nationwide.
