After the nominees have been chosen, voting is opened up to the fans. This year, voting ran January 15–22, 2021. Over 15 million votes from around the world were tallied to come up with the results!

Writer’s opinion: I haven’t seen all of the anime nominated yet, but I’ve seen several of them. I’m a bit sad Dorohedoro didn’t win anything. But Jujutsu Kaisen is and has been amazing in every aspect, so I feel the fact that it received Anime of the Year is well deserved.

Jujutsu Kaisen also received Best ED with “Lost in Paradise” which I’m happy about, as the song is catchy AF.

Congrats also to Yusuke Kobayashi, who plays Natsuki Subaru in Re:Zero Season 2. Again, he’s shown incredibly emotion and intensity voicing that character.
