The story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" takes place in the Taisho-era. It follows the protagonist Kamado Tanjirou, whose entire family was massacred by demons except his younger sister Nezuko, who survived as a demon, decides to fight against demons to find a cure for her and turn her back into a human.
"Kamado Tanjirou Rissi-Hen" was on air on TV in 2019. It follows Tanjirou as he develops as a Demon Slayer. He decides to join the Demon Slayer Corps with Nezuko, and determines to destroy Kibutsuji Muzan, the main protagonist, through an encounter with friends and and Hashira (lit. Pillars), the most powerful swordsmen.
The highlight that you cannot miss is the bond between Tanjirou and Nezuko.
They got through an unfortunate experience, and strive with great difficulties together, which is truly moving.
Nezuko sometimes shows her cheerful personality even under serious situations, which warms the fans hearts.
Furthermore, ufotable known for "Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel" handles the animation production, which guarantees the quality. The original style is well-recreated in that you can feel the traditional atmosphere even in the battle scenes.
The story follows not only the bonds of siblings and friends, but also Da emons' life.
At the very first, Demons were humans. The majority of them led an unfortunate life when they were humans, and Tanjirou tries to understand their pains, which makes the viewers feel the Demons' feelings together.
The characters are thoughtful enough to be considerate of the antagonists. The story tells us to have kindness to feel for our opponent as well as severity to survive, which would be one of the reasons why "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" attracts so many people, anyone from adults to children.
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" is now playing. The TV series are streamed on 'dTV' and other subscription video on demand services.
